This is my lab report for Physics and Engineering. My group's project was to see how far each marshmallow would go. The one that went the farthest was the mini marshmallow. My group mates were, Jaylene M, Veronica Sierra, Tyliece P, and Samuel Dale. Our hypothesis was incorrect because we thought that the regular marshmallow would go the farthest but it didn't, the mini marshmallow did. My group was surprised when we saw how far the mini marshmallow went. The mini marshmallow fell out of the spoon like five times before we actually launched it from our catapult. In Engineering as a class we made a Freshman monument. Below are pictures of the Freshman monument. For the project we did in Physics recently was to build our own wind turbine form either cardboard or foam. My group built our wind turbine out of cardboard because we thought it would be more stable than using foam. For my the next project we had to build some headphones. After we built the headphones we had to write a process paper. We had to build our headphones from our social justice topic. Mines was Immigration. The part of the project that we did for this class was build bottle rockets. It was fun when me and my partner thought of it, we couldn't do it because people kept taking our bottle or destroying it in the process of building it. My brainstorming process was mainly focus n the aerodynamics and height, but that couldn't happen because we couldn't build our own rocket, so we had to use someone else's.
